In approximately September 2014, it was discovered that the now-defunct social networking service Tout had experienced a significant data breach. This breach resurfaced several years later, affecting 652,683 unique user accounts. The compromised data included a range of sensitive information, such as 653,000 unique email addresses, user names, IP addresses, geographical location data, user bios, and passwords that were securely stored as bcrypt hashes.
